PREMIER BRAND GETS H2 MAKEOVER

This month The H2 Company formally launches one of its latest websites on behalf of the award winning independent health & protection insurance broker, The Premier Choice Group.

Premier Choice is a nationwide organisation and has been working with H2 to develop its comprehensive website which will play a key role in informing existing and potential clients about the services offered by the Group.

The web site will also support the organisation's recruitment strategy. The Premier Choice Group helps people find the right policy to protect both their family and work colleagues throughout the world. We even use the company ourselves!

H2 IN PIP COLLABORATION

The H2 Company has been working with Harrogate based PR company, Northern Lights, to produce the new apprenticeship prospectus for Providers in Partnership.

Providers in Partnership (PIP) is a membership organisation representing the network of 22 work-based learning providers across York and North Yorkshire. All members are committed to raising the quality and image of vocational learning in order to positively change the lives of learners.

Northern Lights co-ordinated the project and supplied the copy and photography whilst H2 designed, artworked and collaborated with Northern Lights to develop the content and imagery for the A5 landscape prospectus which received great feedback from young people and students when it was market researched ahead of final printing.

LUCY LOCKET LOST HER POCKET!

We are delighted to welcome Lucy Nolan to the ranks of the H2 Team.

Lucy joined us as a Client Liaison Executive towards the end of March and will be keeping in touch with many of you over the coming weeks and months so listen out for her call.

Lucy has worked in a range of client focused roles alongside senior marketing personnel, and in radio media production, so her range of complementary skills will be a great asset to H2.

Her arrival also caused something of a problem on the name front because we already have a Lucy Ryder. So, Lucy Nolan will now be known as Lucy-Jane, or if you prefer, 'Lox', after the nursery rhyme 'Lucy Locket lost her pocket...'! As a child Lucy had a tendency to lose her purse out of her pocket and, for years, has been given the nickname by friends and family. We are happy to say she has now grown out of the habit!

CONGRATULATIONS TO BIJOULED!

A big congratulations to Bijouled which has just opened its new store in Harrogate.

The company already has a boutique in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, and www.bijouled.co.uk is the beautiful outlet's on-line store. The site was developed by The H2 Company on behalf of the shop's owner, Georgina Collins, and H2's Creative Director, Chris Sands, shot all of the photography featured on the site, which promotes and sells beautiful and unusual designer jewellery, accessories and clothes.

You can now find Bijouled at the bottom of Parliament Street opposite the Turkish Baths as well as on Wharf Street, Sowerby Bridge. Call in you'll be impressed.

EMERGING NEW TALENT!

It's time we formally introduced H2's new rising star Beccie Deighton who is on a one-year work placement with The H2 Company.

Beccie is studying for a degree in Graphic & Communication Design at The University of Leeds and, as part of her course, has opted to do a twelve-month placement in industry. She is a great talent and is already delivering fantastic work for clients.

We were so taken by her abilities that we have now asked her to join the team five days a week so, note her name, in case she picks up the phone!

Beccie will be with us until September when she returns to university to complete her final year of studies.
